Rail-Blue Charters

The Rail-Blue Charters brand was founded in July 2007 when it was decided that RBC (as it quickly became known!) would operate its own trains in the charter market.

The name complements the rolling stock period livery of rail blue and grey and also helps to create a brand and theme for the charter business.

Rail-Blue Charters is a trademark of Cargo-D Ltd.

As well as operating its own trains, it would also offer services such as booking facilities, card processing transactions, marketing specialisms and managing 3rd party charter trains to customer where appropriate.

Rail-Blue Charters attempts to operate 3-4 charters of its own each year using the 'Inter-City' liveried MkII and MkIII blue/grey stock.

Rail-Blue's attitude to delivering charters is four-fold:

 - the rolling stock must be clean, presentable and free from defects

 - the service delivery must be customer-orientated at all times

 - all queries and problems, however large, or small, will be solved

 - a favourable, flexible attitude delivering the trains will be adheered to at all times

All three of Rail-Blue Charters' founder members come from differing backgrounds. Their expertise has created Rail-Blue Charters into what it is today.
