Class 87 hauled charter to run on October 15th

Class 87, 87002 'Royal Sovereign' will operate it's first charter since returning to the main line on Wednesday October 15th. Please see Tour List for more details.

2 x Class 50s to haul Manchester - Minehead charter on October 18th

Rail-Blue Charters in association with Flamboyant Trains will be operating a charter to Minehead from Manchester on Saturday 18th October featuring 50044 and 50049.

Class 87 Test Run

16th July 2008

87002 (with 86101) before leaving LNWR Crewe

On 16th July, 87002 undertook it's maiden run in preservation with a test run from Crewe to Carstairs and back.

MkII recommissioning work starts

Work has recently started on recommissioning MkII vehicles to add to the Cargo-D fleet.

Hope Valley Executive Circular - UPDATE

Rail Blue Charters is pleased to announce the first of its special trains on August 9th. 'Deltic' locomotive 55022 will haul this charter. In response to demand, there will also be a first class only carriage without lunch - tickets are £59. A buffet will be available for those not taking lunch.

Wrexham, Shropshire & Marylebone Railway services commence

Hull Trains contract finishes

Sunday 27th April saw the last run of the MkIII set and 86101 with Hull Trains.

Wrexham, Shropshire and Marylebone Railway start training

Hull Trains MkIII set now in service - additional information

On Friday the 11th of January, the Cargo-D MkIII set went into service complete with matching liveried Class 86 and DVT.

RBC to run first special of 2008
