MkII vehicles out on test
MkIIs 1254, 5971, 6008, 6064, 6117, 6122 and 6173 were out on test from Crewe to Carlisle.
MkIIs move to Crewe
Cargo-D's first tranche of 9 MkII vehicles for RBC work moved from Long Marston to LNWR Crewe last Thursday.
Class 87 hauled charter to run on October 15th
Class 87, 87002 'Royal Sovereign' will operate it's first charter since returning to the main line on Wednesday October 15th.
Fleet Update
There have been some significant updates to the carriage fleet over the last few months.
Class 87 Test Run
87002 (with 86101) before leaving LNWR Crewe On 16th July, 87002 undertook it's maiden run in preservation with a test run from Crewe to Carstairs and back.
MkII recommissioning work starts
Work has recently started on recommissioning MkII vehicles to add to the Cargo-D fleet.
More MkIIIs to join the Rail-Blue Charters fleet
Rail-Blue Charters will shortly be adding three more MkIII vehicles to it's current fleet of MkIIIs.
First Corporate Charter Train of 2008
Rail-Blue Charters is pleased to be operating a Reading to Manchester corporate special on the 1st/2nd February.
