We have been advised that due to an engine problem with 55022, it is not anticipated that this locomotive will be available to operate the RBC tour on December 6th from Shrewsbury to Lincoln. We are therefore very grateful to the Class 40 Preservation Society for offering 40145 to power the train.
The CFPS Class 40 has proved a very popular and reliable machine and we are looking forward to seeing this locomotive on the front of our blue and grey MkIIs and MkIIIs! All booking criteria remains the same and we are taking bookings for all classes.
