Sunday 27th April saw the MkIII set make it's last runs for Hull Trains with Electric Traction Ltd's Class 86 no 86101. The train has operated faultlessly with no failures in traffic on any of the diagrammed runs.
There have been some spectacular runs with the set over the past few months and this has led to only heighten the interest in the train and it's capabilities.
Rail-Blue Charters wishes to thank Hull Trains, the staff at Bounds Green, GBRf and ETL for their support on this contract.
The set returned from Bounds Green on Sunday evening to LNWR Crewe after operating the 10.42 KX-Doncaster and 12.33 ECS back to Bounds Green.
