There has been some speculation as to whether 50044 and 50049 will indeed haul the charter on the 18th to Minehead. We can confirm that both locomotives will be hauling the train.
50044 requires an OTMR part. Arrowvale has advised the Fifty Fund that the expected build will be complete by the 19th September. The expected test will be complete by end of 25th September and will be shipped (with documentation) - date 29th September.
All is on course for both locos to appear on the 18th.
There are no reported problems with 87002 and it's maiden outing to Glasgow on the 15th. Both charters are filling, especially in standard class, so you are advised to book as soon as possible.
