Rail-Blue Charters has completed it's charter programme which currently runs until the end of September. It will operate 4 tours through the summer season, with a mixture of trains aimed at all sectors of the market.
August 15th sees one of our 'Seaside Expresses' operate from Sheffield to Paignton, replete with 2 x DRS Class 47s multi-ing up on the front. This is a real 'Summer Saturday holidaymaker train and is reminiscent of the classic Saturday trains that ran in days gone by - with Class 47 traction!
September sees two classic RBC style 'Executive' trains run, on the 5th from Shrewsbury to Newcastle and on the 19th, a traditional 'Circular' from Barrow Hill to Carlisle, Newcastle and back to Barrow Hill.
